Our Story

It was 2009 at the end of my Eighth grade year and I had just met Josh Benno. He was cute so duh I liked it.. that was the only thing that mattered back then! I most definitely was not expecting what was about to happen. Young Love. We became best friends and for the next three years we were inseparable. Our love became more of a friendship, and comfort zone. At that point, half way through our Junior year of High School we became, just friends. As hard as it was, that was the best decision we ever made. We went our separate ways, josh switched schools and we didn't talk much, and if we did.. it was an argument! I didn't like who he was talking to, he didn't like who I was talking to.. you who how it goes! So at that point we stopped talking, completely. Junior year was over, summer was over and it was now time to start my senior year! It was going to be the best year of my life.. then, I am on my way to school and literally all of my friends are calling me to inform me that Josh has switched back to Dixie. I was probably two seconds away from just going back home! But I got to school, had my coach look up his schedule and found out we had two classes together. Yeah, I didn't go to those classes for like two weeks. We had Language Arts and Fitness for Life. Yeah, freakin A.
I had my best friend with me in Language Arts which made my life a million times better but I was straight up a loner in F4L. It was awful. We didn't really talk and if we did it was him making fun of me.. :( so now were about half way through senior year. Things are going a little better, josh is nicer and still handsome as ever. One night we both ended up at a mutual friends house and we all hung out for a night. Oh boy, you could see the sparks in that room. That my friends is where it all started.. again. But in a much different way, we were completely different people now. We grew as our own persons and went through a lot of different things that the other person wasn't there for. This was about Christmas time. He came over on Christmas and got to see my fam for the first time in awhile and we just got to know each other for the next little bit. Not knowing if we would really get back together or not. Then on January 5th 2013 heaven gained one of the greatest dads to live! My dad had cancer and it was never a secret that this was going to happen, but you can never prepare yourself to lose your number one guy. I truly believe that Josh was brought back into my life to help me through that time in my life. Josh was with me through it all with my dad, when we got sick, all of the doctors appointments, all of the traveling, everything. That brought us closer than ever. And a couple weeks later we made it official, January 14th, 2013, Josh was my boyfriend. Many people had there opinions on us getting back together. But a girl cant help but to follow her heart, and I've never made a decision that has made me happier! Then, April 17th, 2013, he asked me to spend forever with him.. We were engaged! I could list all the mean things people said and all the rumors.. but that was the best, most amazing day of my life! (and everyone else's opinions are unimportant). So it is now August 2013 and we have not set an official date yet but I'm thinkin fall weddings are pretty gorgeous. ;)
